PRESTIGE PILOT WARRANTY
LENGTH OF THE COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
Every Prestige Pilot product has a 2-, 5- or 10-year warranty from the date of purchase. To find length of time the warranty is valid, please see the warranty certificate inside your luggage.
Any defect covered by the terms and conditions of this commercial warranty must be reported to Prestige Pilot as soon as possible after its discovery in order to prevent any aggravation of such defect. The period of any resultant shutdown, to carry out repairs covered by the contractual warranty, of seven days or longer shall be added to the unexpired term of the guarantee from the time when the consumer requests assistance or the time when the product in question is taken out of service pending repair, should this be subsequent to the request for assistance. Replacement of the product covered by the warranty does not result in extending the initial length of the commercial warranty.
ELEMENTS REQUIRED TO ENFORCE THE COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
The commercial warranty can be enforced only upon presentation of the warranty certificate – given and dated by the seller when purchasing the Prestige Pilot product (date and stamp are deemed authentic) option 1: together with its invoice.
CONTENT OF COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
The commercial warranty applies to new products sold online or in stores, except exhibition and destocking model. The commercial warranty covers apparent manufacturing defects likely to adversely affect the normal use of the product, as described below:
- the warranty covers the replacement of exhibits acknowledged to be defective;
- the warranty does not apply to accidents resulting from external damage such as fall, shock, burn, excessive humidity or dry heat, theft, misuse or tempering with the product, normal wear and tear and deliberate damage from user, and does not give rise to any damages.
TERRITORIALITY OF THE WARRANTY
Commercial warranties apply to any Prestige Pilot products to which such warranty applies that is purchased in the USA.

If you return your luggage to the manufacturer, it must be sent carriage paid in protective packaging. If your luggage is damaged in transit, please submit your claim immediately to the carrier. If you want to repair your out-of-warranty Prestige Pilot luggage, you can contact an authorized Prestige Pilot repair center for a cost-effective repair.
WHAT WILL PRESTIGE PILOT DO IN CASE OF CLAIM?
Outside the statutory warranty, Prestige Pilot or one of its providers will examine the product and if after verification, Prestige Pilot or one of its partners finds that your claim is covered by the commercial warranty, Prestige Pilot will decide to either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. If the product is no longer sold by Prestige Pilot, a suitable replacement product will be proposed.
While Prestige Pilot undertakes to make every effort to offer a fast and satisfactory solution under this commercial warranty, it cannot be held liable for events of force majeure such as determined by case law which may prevent the correct application of the warranty.
To be approved, luggage must successfully pass solidity, security and resistance tests in a variety of unfavorable situations including bad weather and transportation conditions. Wheels, zip fasteners and handling (grips, handles and shoulder straps) are tested to check their solidity. Fully packed luggage can roll or fall again and again while keeping their integrity.
